Operix ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Operix mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google profile.

Contacts (Optional)

If you grant permission, we can import contacts from your device into your shop contact directory. Contact data is sent to our servers and stored in your shop's private database. We do not share imported contacts with third parties.

Camera (Optional)

We use your device camera solely to scan IMEI barcodes for inventory tracking. No photos or videos are stored or transmitted.

Business Data

Inventory records, sales, dispatches, expenses, and other business data you enter are stored in our cloud database and associated with your shop account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app
• To authenticate your identity
• To store and display your business data
• To send push notifications you have configured (e.g., overdue payment reminders)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure. We use row-level security to ensure each shop's data is isolated. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or business data with third parties. We may disclose data only if required by law.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from My Account > Delete Account in the app. Account deletion permanently removes your profile and, if you are the sole shop owner, all associated shop data.

6. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider
• Expo — push notification delivery

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
